Learn from a distinguished faculty with real world experience

The MBA program benefits from experienced and committed faculty members who dedicate themselves to teaching and mentoring MBA students. The faculty all have years of experience in a wide variety of business related fields. They have worked with adult learners in professional workshops, in other learning institutions, and in a variety of learning environments – giving them invaluable skills needed to meet the needs of the busy professional.

Each instructor is selected for the ability to project their individual personalities into the online learning environment, and all are trained for the online teaching. They recognize their responsibility to bring experience and expertise to bear in the classroom, to facilitate vibrant and engaging discussion of the subject matter, and to support students in all of their learning activities.


Dr. Jose Cordova
Program Director
PhD, Ohio University

Dr. Jose Cordova earned his Ph.D. in Telecommunications Management, as well as his MA in Economics and MA in Administrative Studies from Ohio University. With over 25 years of experience worldwide in the academic, business, operational and high tech industry, Jose was the Program Director for the University of San Francisco-Quito and has taught various courses for the MBA Program, School of Business, at California State University-San Bernardino. Jose has also acted as the Senior Executive and Senior Consultant in International Business, Marketing, Finance, Information Systems and Telecommunications, for top multinationals in the U.S.A., Europe and Latin America, including IBM, AT&T, NCR, Schering-Plough and MasterCard.


William Jolley
PhD, University of Western Australia

William Jolley earned his PhD in Marketing from the University of Western Australia and his MBA from the University of Florida. His academic employment includes positions at the University of Western Australia, Edith Cowan University, and Griffith University. Professionally, he has acted as the Director of Strategic Planning and Research at The Walt Disney Company, Director of Market Information at Nestle USA., and Director of Market Research for Mars Inc. His PhD thesis focused on online gambling and he has thereafter published and presented extensively on the topic. He is a member of the American Marketing Association, American Association of Advertising Agencies, Advertising Research Foundation, Marketing Science Institute, and The Conference Board.


Robert E. Deemer
DPT, University of Colorado

Robert Deemer earned his Doctorate in Philosophy and Technology and his MS in Computer Science both from the University of Colorado, his MBA from Pepperdine University, his MS in Management Science from the University of Redlands, his MA in Philosophy and Humanities from California State University, and his MA Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. Robert Deemer has held a variety of roles including President, Vice-President of Business Development and Technology, Manager of Strategic Technology, and Spacecraft Manager. He has taught various MBA programs at the University of Colorado and Colorado State University. He has recently published studies and reports for the National Academy of Sciences and the National Research Council. He is a member of the IEEE, AIAA, INCOSC, and PMI.


Mehdi E. Mohaghegh
PhD, Clark University

Mehdi Mohaghegh earned his PhD and MA in Economics both from Clark University, and his MA in Financial Economics from the University of Teheran. He has held academic teaching roles at the University of Vermont, University of Maryland, Clark University, the University of Lowell, College of the Holy Cross, Marymack College, and Assumption College. His research interests include public finance, managerial finance theories to economies of developing countries, empirical studies, trade policies, and economic policy analysis. He is a member of the Eastern Economic Association, Atlantic Economic Society, Middle East Economic Association, and Missouri Valley Economic Association.


George J. Nixon
DPA, University of Alabama

George Nixon earned his Doctor of Public Administration from the University of Alabama, his Master of Science in National Resources Strategy from the National Defense University, and his Master of Arts in Management and Supervision from Central Michigan University. He has held positions including Collegiate Associate Professor for the University of Maryland, Commander Personnel Division Chief, Deputy Commander, and Chief of Staff for NATO. He has recently published articles on topics such as the role of human resources in business continuity planning. He is the recipient of the Defense Meritorious Service Award, Antonelli Award for Industry Studies Excellence, and Outstanding Dissertation of the Year Award.


Michael S. Puddicombe
DBA, Boston University

Michael Puddicombe earned his DBA from Boston University and his MBA from the University of Rhode Island. He has instructed at Johnson and Wales University, Boston University, and Roger Williams University in operations and technology management. His industry experience includes company-wide financial, management, and information systems responsibilities for architectural, engineering, construction operations as well as real estate development. Further, his consulting experience includes the development and testing of project management software, scheduling and project control for general contractors. He is a Certified Management Accountant. His most recent publications focus on contracts, inter-firm collaboration and project performance, theory of management education, roles in complex projects, and value chains.
